Biography:
Alan is a native New Englander having been born and raised in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Prior to settling in Northeast Ohio, he had resided in Boston’s historic northshore and in New York City. He graduated from Quinnipiac College (now University) in Hamden, Connecticut earning a Bachelor’s degree in History. He also spent two years studying Theology at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary located in Hamilton, Mass. In 2004, Alan graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law and began a career of dedicated legal service.
Prior to opening his own firm, Alan served as an associate attorney with the Law Office of Demetrios K. Stratis, LLC located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. While practicing in New Jersey, he assisted attorneys affiliated with the Alliance Defending Freedom and the American Center for Law & Justice on numerous constitutional legal matters involving the interrelation of an individual’s First Amendment freedoms of speech and religion. Upon his move to Ohio, he served as a free-lance legal researcher and writer briefing a variety of issues involving healthcare providers defenses to medical malpractice claims. Most recently, Alan was an associate attorney with Kennedy & Associates, Co, LPA, in Norton, Ohio where he concentrated on matters involving, small business, personal injury, civil litigation, taxation and Social Security disability.
Outside of the office, Alan serves on the worship arts team at Journey Church (Twinsburg Campus) and as the manager of a youth soccer team. He resides in Brecksville with his wife and two sons.
